Technology Applications Standards for All Teachers

The State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) has five standards that all teachers should know and do for Technology Applications.  They are found at this link:  http://starchart.esc12.net/standards.html .  The goal is to have all teachers complete the online professional development for Standard I:  All teachers use technology-related terms, concepts, data input strategies and ethical practices to make informed decisions about current technologies and their applications no later than May 28, 2010.

Welcome to the Stockdale ISD Professional Development Portal for Technology!  Over the years we have used our technology money for staff development that was not utilized to the fullest extent possible.  This year we are trying out this online professional development system that will allow you to do technology PD in your PJs...or where ever and/or when ever you have internet access.  We hope that this experience is positive and useful to your teaching assigment.
